Build, run and govern actuarial models on one platform.

Empower your actuarial teams with high-performance modeling in a collaborative environment. Actura transforms time-dependent, multi-decade projections by pairing intuitive, human-readable formula logic with massive compute power.

From first formula to full production run.

Build a model from scratch, or import one of our base models for conventional, unit-linked, term assurance or annuity business and adapt it. Then give it data, choose what it reports and run it, all in the same workspace.

  1. Model

Write the model, or start from ours.

Express the actuarial logic as formulas, one per variable, or import a base model for conventional, unit-linked, term assurance or annuity business and adapt it.

  2. Data

Upload the tables your formulas read.

Model points, parameter files and any assumption table, in CSV or Parquet. Formulas refer to them by name.

  3. Outputs

    Map variables to output tables.

Choose which variables each table reports, and for which products. No export scripts to maintain.

  4. Run
    Policy 1, month 0 1.000

Test on one policy. Run production on all of them.

A test run projects a single policy so you can check the logic. A production run projects every model point, in parallel.

Work on the same model together, with every change on record.

Invite your team into a shared workspace with clear roles: owners, editors, reviewers and viewers. Reviewers can duplicate a model to test their own changes without touching the original. Every edit to a formula is logged with its author, time and before-and-after values, and every run keeps a snapshot of the exact model version it used.

Compare versions, restore an earlier formula and reproduce any past result, without anyone keeping a change log by hand.

Model complex logic with compute modules.

Compute modules extend Actura's formula language with custom logic written in Python, R, C++ or JavaScript. Bring in the languages your team already uses for the calculations a formula can't express neatly, such as optimisations, stochastic scenarios or external algorithms.

Each module becomes a function your formulas call like any other, so the rest of the model stays readable.
